Radiation Treatment

"The majority of cancers cannot be cured by radiation because the dose of x-rays required to kill all the cancer cells would also kill the patient."- Prof John Cairns (1985)
"The Cancer Industry" by Ralph Moss p62

Some radiation research by Gavin Phillips

Radiation therapy is directed radiation to the tumor to try and burn
it out. It is effective against some rarer cancers, but at a high cost in side-effects. It does have several disadvantages and there are very serious questions raised as to the regularity with which it is administred.

Radiotherapy is subjecting you to radiation whioch obviously causes cancer. It also suppresses the immune system and has similar side effects as Chemotherapy; hair falling out, nausea.

Why the prevalent use of radiology then? Because there is a massive investment in Radiology machines in hospitals all across the country. It is also extremely lucrative for
hospitals. In 1977 Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York, invested 4.5 million in new radiology equipment. In 1987 they performed 75,595 radiation treatments and implant procedures. This averaged out at over four per admitted patient. As Ralph Moss says,quote,;

"Radiation has always been lucrative -for hospitals, for equipment and film manufactuers, and for the radiologists themselves."

Obviously, once you have invested millions in equipment there is a strong inducement to use it. Radiation therapy is often given to patients following surgery. Woman undergoing breast surgery often have radiation. Two studies I found state that there is a decrease in survival when given radiation after breast surgery. In "The Healing of Cancer", quote;

"By 1974, the repsected British medical journal, The Lancet, reported that radiation following breast surgery increased the death rates.;"Of controlled clinical trials so far published, all six, including more than 3400 patients, demonstrate decreased survival of between 1 and 10 percent in irradiated patients when compared with those
treated by masectomy alone."

In August 1998, Science News published a review of over 30 years of data of radiation after surgery. From "World Without Cancer"quote;

"...The survival rate 2 years after surgery was 48% for those getting
radiation treatments and 55% for surgery-only patients."

Is anybody surprised? Somebody who has just completed very stressful surgery is then subjected to radiation which causes cancer, debilitates the immune system and induces nausea. What are the long term effects of being subjected to radiation."

In the early 1980's, John Gofman, Ph.D, co-discoverer of 4 isotopes
and 4 nuclear processes stated, from "The Healing of Cancer" p. 91 quote.

"My estimate is that about 94,000 cancer fatalities for the future
are being induced with each year of medical diagnostic X-rays."

In 1979, Dr. Irwin Bross summed up a thirty year cover-up of
radiations hazards;

"For thirty years radiologists in this country have been engaged in massive malpractice."

Cancer: It's the Radiation!

Ever wonder why cancer is so prevalent in our society?

So did Dr. Irwin Bross, director of biostatistics at Roswell Park
Memorial Institute in Buffalo, New York. In
the 1970s, Dr. Bross headed a project that studied the alarming
increase in rates of leukemia. His sample was 16
million people from New York, Maryland, and Minnesota.

After checking factors as diverse as health history, occupational
history, residential history, family background,
cause of death for parents and grandparents, exposure to farm
animals, pet ownership, whether or not the pets
had ever been sick, Dr. Bross came to the conclusion that the main
cause of the rising rates of leukemia was
medical radiation in the form of diagnostic medical X-rays (Leslie
Freeman, ed., Nuclear Witnesses: Insiders
Speak Out, New York: Norton, 1982, p. 27).
